Life is a challenge.

Most of the time life is rewarding. We can take pride in what we’ve accomplished, and successfully handle the strain. Then there are times like now, when everything changes, and the challenge becomes too unpredictable to bear.

When the ground shifts beneath our feet, when all of our usual favorite activities are suddenly missing from our lives, we feel the impact of that loss. We feel it as depression weighing us down, or anxiety racing through our bloodstream, or self-criticism picking at us from every corner.
